Former Jackson Mayor Derek Dobies has filed to run for school board. Mr. Dobis is a known progressive who also works for the ACLU. As a member of the City Council, Mr. Dobies was able to survive a recall attempted and decided to step down from Mayor when it became apparent that his progressive policies could not survive another election.
Now Mr. Dobies is partnering with State Representative Candidate Maurice Imhoff to bring their progressive agenda to the school district. If elected, there is no doubt that these two will push their progressive agenda to deny parents any involvement in their children’s education.
